Contemporary and Traditional Ornamental Metalwork

Now at the “New” Old Smiddy, Colleen had been resident Artist Blacksmith at the Old Smiddy in Blair Atholl for almost two years but has now moved on to the Old Smiddy at Gallin farm on the Meggernie Estate in Glenlyon, Highland Perthshire, Scotland.

This 19th Century Smiddy had been used as a store room and not been used as a forge for at least 30 years. We have spent couple of months re-commissioning this workshop, and the ringing of the anvil is once again heard there! We will soon be posting photos of the workshop and surrounds. Colleen is still happy to take on commissions, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your ideas.
